Sealed Lead Acid Batteries are a great solution for commercial applications that are typically used in motor vehicles, forklifts and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. A type of secondary cell with a semisolid electrolyte that eliminates some of the drawbacks of regular lead acid batteries. Sealed Lead Acid batteries can be used in any position and are virtually maintenance free.
Deep Cycle batteries are designed to have a large amount of stored current discharged between charging sessions, coupled with very heavy non-porous battery plates to withstand repeated major discharging and charging cycles (Deep Cycles). These batteries typically feature thick plates with a high density active material. Thick battery plates allow for reserve energy to be stored deep within the battery plate and released during slow discharges.
